Description

Comuna 13 was once one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Medellín; today it is an open-air gallery and the best example of the city’s transformation. On this guided tour you ride the famous outdoor escalators, walk through streets covered in murals and street art, and hear the stories of the community from a local guide who grew up in the area.

Along the way you see live hip-hop and breakdance performances, try a mango biche or a local ice cream, and enjoy panoramic views over the city from the viewpoints at the top of the escalators. The tour can be combined with a ride on the Medellín Metrocable.

Duration: about 3 to 4 hours.
Includes: local bilingual guide (Spanish / English).
Not included: metro tickets, food, drinks and gratuities.
Meeting point: San Javier metro station in Medellín, or hotel pickup in El Poblado on request, confirmed with your booking.

Price shown is “from”, per person, indicative. Send us your preferred date and number of guests and our team will confirm the itinerary, pickup and availability before you pay. Based on standard products offered by local tour operators in the destination.
